Erica purchased my Chicago River Walk Mini Photo Shoot from my Eventbrite events page. We met at the Chicago River between the State St and Wabash Ave bridges on a beautiful Saturday evening. We reviewed what Erica was looking for – landscape and portrait photos for their anniversary announcements, and then off we went.
In my thirty minute couple’s photo shoots, I take an average of 120 images, and once I’m done with my review and edits, I deliver about 30 images. In Erica’s case, I delivered 39 image. You can see there whole album here –> http://go.littlemonstersphoto.com/ericab
What makes a great photo shoot is chemistry. I try and reach out to all my clients before our shoot whether it’s a full shoot or a mini shoot to get an idea of what they are looking for out of the images we are about to create.
And when things really workout is when we work together to experiment a bit. We had five minutes left in our shoot. I felt we covered everything Erica was looking for, so I suggested we walk up to Upper Wacker and came across this stanchion with beautiful street bulbs. It took but a minute to setup and take a test shot, readjusted and took another test shot. Readjusted and took these last photos that captured the essence of their relationship.
