Lydia turned 13 years old so her aunt contacted me to purchase a portrait shoot for her niece. It was a cold and cloudy day when we met at Peterson Park here in Chicago. But we made the best of it by using two lights and a reflector to capture Lydia’s portrait.
To bring a little bit of life to Lydia’s portrait on a gloomy day, I setup a second light with a an orange gel to mimic the sun hitting Lydia’s hair. I think it worked out pretty well, and her entire family loved the results from Lydia’s photo shoot.
And of course, how could I deny her lovely cousin to jump in for a few photos! Happy Birthday, Lydia!
